Foreign language faculties - PUZ w Tarnobrzegu

The university has been offering optional university-wide language courses since the academic year 2011/2012. Initially, students could learn four languages: English, German, Spanish, and French. In subsequent years, the offering was expanded to include two additional languages: Russian and Italian. The language learning proposal covers basic and advanced levels. Before the start of each semester, the Education Department announces registrations for individual languages on bulletin boards, the university's website, and in the Virtual Dean's Office. Based on the lists of interested students, appropriate language groups are formed. The classes take place outside the regular schedule for a given study program. Students from all years and study programs have the opportunity to participate in these optional courses. The instructors of the optional courses create a schedule of classes, which is approved by the Vice-Rector for Education. After completing the classes in each semester, a survey is conducted to gather students' opinions on the university-wide optional language courses for each language and level. Students receive relevant certificates upon completion of the courses.

Since 2016, graduates and employees of the university have also joined the group of individuals learning foreign languages as part of these optional courses.
