The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities offers bachelor's and master's studies in fields corresponding to current educational trends and labor market needs. The fields of study conducted are of a practical nature, i.e. the educational content includes a large number of practical education classes, with an important role of professional internships and practical classes.

University employees are a very important group of the academic community. In practice, they are responsible for the university and its image. The Faculty employs academic teachers with the titles/degrees of professor, habilitated doctor, doctor, and master's degree. The teaching staff consists of people with extensive teaching and scientific experience as well as socio-economic practice obtained in institutions whose activity profile is related to the fields of study included in the University's educational offer.

The achievements of the University's employees increase the scientific and teaching potential, which has implications in the quality of the education process and in the scientific and research area. Academic teachers periodically improve their professional qualifications, acquiring new titles and degrees, increasing the scientific and teaching potential, which has consequences in constantly improving the quality of student education in the field of current theoretical knowledge and its practical application as well as in the scientific and research area.

The Faculty organizes international and national scientific conferences, resulting in publications issued since 2003. Students also actively participate in scientific conferences, presenting the results of their individual and team research. There are four Scientific Circles at the Faculty (Psychological Scientific Circle IQ2, Scientific Circle of Social Pathology and Prevention, Scientific Circle GOMPHOSIS).

Scientific activity in the work of scientific clubs whose nature of activity is consistent with the field of study is manifested, among others, by: in implementing their own research projects, developed during meetings of Circle members or during research trips.

Their results are presented during scientific conferences and then finalized in post-conference publications. University student organizations pursue their goals resulting from their statutory activities by undertaking many activities and tasks for the academic and local communities.
